DRAFT — NOT LEGAL ADVICE. Pending review by a licensed Canadian lawyer before launch.

Community Code of Conduct

Version 0.3.0-draft · Effective 2026-10-07

Draft conduct guidance for the UNPLUG concept. No pilot is operating. The public /community-standards page summarises the same proposed rules in plain language.

1. The phones-in-the-box rule

UNPLUG is a concept with no operating pilot. The proposed phone box is voluntary: an unlocked branded box in the middle of the table. Nobody holds the phones. Owners can retrieve their phones whenever needed, including in an emergency. Participation is an honour system for fun, not a custody arrangement.

2. Respect & safety

Treat every other guest, host, and venue staff member with respect. No harassment, slurs, intimidation, or unwanted physical contact. If anything makes you feel unsafe, tell the host or contact UNPLUG.

3. Content & filming consent

Do not film, photograph, or post identifiable images of another guest without their consent. Guests who have opted out of content (visible to hosts and Creator Partners before each night) must not be filmed or photographed at all. Always honor an in-person request to stop or delete.

4. Prohibited behavior

No escorts, sugar dynamics, or transactional/compensated companionship of any kind. No solicitation. No drugs. No harassment, hate, or harm. No fake names, fake photos, or impersonation. No recruiting for outside services without prior written permission from UNPLUG.

5. Enforcement

Any future event enforcement procedure must be defined before launch. No operating pilot, paid booking, or verified-identity ban system is being represented by this draft.
