UNPLUG sends verified, engaged groups of 6 to 12 people to your venue on a guaranteed booking. Every person is ID-verified. They leave their phones in a branded box for 90 minutes. At the 90-minute mark they review your venue, your food, and the experience — required before they can book another UNPLUG night. Guests don't know they're coming to you until the morning of their event. UNPLUG reveals venue details via push notification on the day — creating a genuine moment of anticipation that makes your venue part of the story before they even arrive.

What You Do
- Offer a reserved group table or space for UNPLUG nights
- Feed the group from your existing menu — you receive an anonymized dietary summary 48 hours before, no guest names attached
- Hold the physical key or combination to the phone jail — you open it at 90 minutes or in any emergency
- Set your group discount rate (minimum 15%) and confirm your auto-gratuity policy
- Submit a short follow-up survey 48 hours after the event
The Phone Box
UNPLUG provides a branded lockable phone jail that sits on the group table all night. You hold the physical key or combination. The app sends you an unlock notification at 90 minutes — you open it manually at the table. In any emergency, open it immediately. No app required. No approval needed. Full authority is yours.
The Algorithm
The more you offer, the more likely UNPLUG's grouping algorithm sends groups to your venue. Your algorithm score is visible in your venue dashboard along with your position in the pool and what would increase your score.

Venue Tiers
Your tier is internal — members see your partnership label, not a number. It controls which membership tier can book your venue.

Club Hosting
Venues can apply to host themed club nights. Theme clubs include Founder's Table, Jerseys and Drinks, Costume Bloc, Trivia Pack, Vinyl Night, and The Blind Table. Cuisine clubs let your venue showcase what you do best — Vegan Night, The Butcher, Spice Route, The Agora, La Famiglia, The Izakaya, and Sunday Brunch. Club hosting designation increases your algorithm score and gives you permanent category placement in the app.
User Voting
UNPLUG members vote on where they want their next night out. The most-voted venues receive a notification showing how many members voted for them — real demand proof delivered before you've spent a dollar. Top-voted venues are flagged as high demand in the algorithm and given priority grouping consideration.
